It has happened a lot since my last newsletter. After 1.5 years of praying and visioning, 2026 is the year when House of Freedom slowly starts to become real.

At the beginning of the year, I had the opportunity to speak publicly for the first time. I was invited by a Christian social ministry to share about my own past with addiction and what my journey into freedom looked like. Since then, I have already received further requests for lectures and seminars from communities and youth groups. So far, there are no concrete dates, as I still have to work out my teaching before I can go on stage with it. But probably there will be more public appointments soon. I'm planning the first events after the summer holidays.

Also, I'm currently working on a social media page. Over the past few months, I've started filming short Instagram Reels, in which I talk about the topics of media and pornography addiction. At the beginning of this month, I started uploading. It's not very viral yet, or very elaborately produced, but it doesn't have to be. It was important for me to start at this point. Behind the scenes, other things are also happening right now, especially in the team area. So far, I'm still the only one who is firmly committed to House of Freedom. But I'm already talking to some people about whether they'd like to join the project. It's also giving me a lot of joy to get to know potential team members better and see their skills to create visions together.

That's it for now from me. Pray that God assembles the team for House of Freedom according to his will in the next months. That's currently the most important resource for me and also the topic I pray for every day.
