It’s been more than one month now since I am back in Germany, and a lot of things have already happened in my life and about the House of Freedom. First of all, a short recap for those who don’t know me and what happened in my life in the past twelve months. I am Jakob, and in September 2024 god gave me a vision for a house I should build. And over the months, He added more details, and at the end, the vision for a House of Freedom was born. It will be a place where people can get free from media and pornography addiction. It was clear for me that it would take years until this would become reality, but I decided to take the first steps into this project. And for this reason, I took some time to invest in myself and flew to the USA to take part in Life School in Santa Cruz. It was an eight-week Christian discipleship school this summer, and I used the time to grow in my relationship with Jesus and get more stable in my identity. It was such a great time because I got new friends, met a new culture, did a lot of outreach, and had a lot of fun. And I think it prepared me for my next season in life.

Now I am back in Germany and I have moved to a new city. I live in Zwickau now and I believe it is exactly the right place for me right now. I moved here because I have a job as a programmer here and it is a lot of fun to work for a local company here. But the even better part is: I got a family known and they had some empty rooms in their house, and this was the nicest opportunity to get an apartment here. It is the family Weißbach, Rico and Miriam with four beautiful children. Two of them are still living at home and it’s so cool to hang out with them. They also have a ministry called Lewi Life and they are doing nice stuff for young adults here in Germany, but they are also doing relief operations in Ecuador. I am sure that it will be a great time to live here. They already founded their ministry and I can learn from them how they are doing their stuff. And I hope I can also support them in their ministry. And over the next year they are doing a course called Impact. It is for young adults to grow in topics like personality, belief and calling. I will take part and so I am doing another year of learning and investing into myself.

But at the moment I am also trying to start investing in other people. I hope that God will give me some disciples soon, so I can slowly start setting people free from addictions. I don’t want to wait until I have a big ministry to start working with people and this topic. I want to start working with this now. But everything in Gods timing.

If you want to pray for me and the vision then pray that I will meet the right people here in Zwickau. I want to connect with people in the city and build good relationships that will help and encourage me on my way. Pray that I will get a more deeply understanding of gods love to us, because it is one of the main topics for House of Freedom and I should grow in wisdom about gods love.
Pray also for the people of Lewi Life. Some of them will fly to Ecuador tomorrow, and there are some struggles at the airports right now and many flights got canceled. And in Ecuador, gasoline is getting more expensive there, so the people over there can get a little bit rebellious against the government. So pray for peace and blessings on this trip.
